At The Willow Company, every cricket bat is crafted with precision, care, and heritage, from the finest English Willow, seasoned and shaped to meet the highest standards of performance. We stand by the quality of our craftsmanship and materials, and we ensure every product leaving our workshop meets our strict quality standards.
However, as wood is a natural product, certain minor irregularities can occur as part of its natural grain and structure. Our warranty policy ensures fair assessment and genuine support in all such cases.
Cricket Bats:
We offer a 1-year manufacturer’s replacement warranty that covers manufacturing defects only. If a replacement is approved, the remaining warranty period of the original product will continue to apply to the replaced product.
In case of a replacement, only the main product will be replaced. Any additional accessories or services will incur extra charges if required again.
Not Covered Under Warranty:
- Damage from improper use, poor timing, edge hits, or toe shots (yorkers).
- Bats not properly oiled, knocked-in, or modified post-purchase.
- Damage due to extreme weather (moisture, excessive heat, or damp conditions).
- Damage from non-leather, composite, or bowling machine balls.
- Excessive bowling machine use within the first 6 months of purchase.
Covered Under Warranty:
- Manufacturing defect in the handle fitting (if loose or improperly fixed).
- Breakage of bat handle (covered only if shoulder and blade remain intact).
- Internal stress or storm damage (covered only within the first 6 months of purchase, subject to expert verification).
Important Notes:
- Bat appearance naturally changes over time — cracks or wear marks are normal and not signs of defect.
- Regular oiling and knocking prolong a bat’s life.
- Minor cracks should be repaired locally and do not affect performance.
- Bat lifespan depends on usage frequency and maintenance.
